When you buy a blender it comes with an instruction manual. You can choose to ignore it, and common sense will get you a long way, up until you decide to blend that cellphone in it. Then…. Well depending on your blender it will either be a spectacular display of raw blending power, or you will have a huge mess on your hands and a potential trip to the ER.
When you birth a child there is no manual that comes with said child. Most folks think that they can wing it and “Do what my Parents did with me, good enough for me good enough for my child!” If you are reading this you aren’t likely one of those, you are searching for real knowledge on how to raise your child, not to the best of your ability, but to bring out the best in your child.
Our philosophy is simple. In the last 20 years there has been thousands of discoveries on how the brain works, and develops. What creates wonder, and what creates fear for children. We feel our job as parents is to bring out the wonder, to create little people who will work to better the whole planet, and each other.
You want to stop pollution? War? Crime? Create the next major leap for mankind? It starts with your child. They are unlimited potential, the most powerful source of that in the universe, and as far as we know at the moment the only source of that potential. So we as parents need to nurture that, help them grow, help them to create that potential in themselves.
To that end, we are bringing together the latest in thinking, research, information on doing just that to this site. In hopes that those who are interested in seeing their children reach their potential and beyond will find value here and will create a community that supports these efforts.
Our promise is that we will do our best to keep opinion out of what we present and bring facts and research to the table so that it’s a matter of fact and not a matter of “Well it was good enough for me….”
